Dr. (Mrs.) Aida Kulo is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at Medical faculty University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She completed her B. Medicine., M. Medicine., and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Sarajevo. Her major work has been in the area of the pharmacology of vulnerable populations (pregnant and postpartum women, children), pharmacology of cardiovascular diseases and animal studies on hepatoprotection/hepatotoxicity. Her ongoing projects include a pharmacokinetics of drugs in neonates treated with hypothermia, vaccines studies and indoor air quality for children. She has 45 plus research papers with over 250 citations in high Impact factor journals, a number of research awards and scholarships, and industrial projects to her credit. She sits on the editorial board of a few journals, was a member of a few Scientific committees, is a member of a number of international associations and is a reviewer for many reputed journals.

She is also involved in Pharmacovigilance and Vaccination/Immunisation continuous medical education projects.

Aida Kulo Research Interests are a pharmacology of vulnerable populations, pharmacology of cardiovascular diseases, preclinical animal models; toxicology; vaccination/immunisation; indoor air quality.
