Amina Blekić was born in Sarajevo on April 6th 1997, where she finished elementary school. After graduating from the First Bosniak Gymnasium ─ Cambridge International School, in 2015 she enrolled at the Medical Faculty of the University of Sarajevo, Medical studies in English. From 2015 to 2020, winner of the ‘Dean’s Award’ for the student with highest GPA in class. Participated in the organization of the International Congress of Medical Students (SaMED) in 2019 as a member of the Scientific Committee and in 2020 as the coordinator of the Scientific Committee. Since October 2020, she has held the position of student vice dean at the Faculty of Medicine, and vice president of the Association of Students of the Faculty of Medicine (USMF). She has participated in professional and research exchanges in Turkey and Brazil, as well as trainings in the field of Vaccinology at the University of Antwerp and Oncology at the University of Utrecht. She presented papers at the congresses SaMED, BHAAAS, and the Congress of Endocrinologists and Diabetologists in BiH. She hopes to pursue research in the field of Immunooncology in the future.
