Orhan Piralić was born on March 30, 2001, in Sarajevo, where he completed Safvet-beg Bašagić Primary School and GSSST High School. He graduated in Architecture from the International Burch University as one of the most successful students in the Department of Architecture. He is currently a second-year master’s student at the same university, having completed all coursework with outstanding results, and is in the process of writing his master’s thesis.
He has worked on projects such as Civitas and ISSYH, where he served as an assistant coordinator within the ISSYH Summer School dedicated to the preservation and restoration of the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is employed as an architect at 3Line. His fields of professional interest include architectural heritage, the protection and preservation of cultural assets, and the influence of traditional architecture on contemporary principles of sustainable and resilient design. He believes that architecture must always move forward and respond to future challenges, while respecting the values and knowledge that have shaped its past. Together with colleagues, he has published a paper in the Polish Journal of Architecture and Business, focusing on the role of architecture in disaster response.
He is fluent in Bosnian and English and holds the highest-level Cambridge English certificate. He also has basic knowledge of German and Japanese.
