Sumeja Lepić (born April 22, 2000, in Sarajevo) is a Master of Mechanical Engineering, specialized in energy engineering, with a strong focus on sustainable and high-performance buildings. She earned her Master’s degree from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo in 2024. During her studies, she expanded her academic and professional perspective through international study programs at the University of Technology of Belfort–Montbéliard in France and TU Wien – Vienna University of Technology in Austria, where she deepened her expertise in renewable energy, energy efficiency, sustainable development, and sustainable building design.

Her Master’s thesis, “Energy Refurbishment of an Administrative Building to a Nearly Zero-Energy Building Standard,” reflects her strong interest in transforming existing buildings toward future-ready, low-energy solutions.

Her professional interests span building energy efficiency, industrial energy processes, building physics, and advanced HVAC system solutions, with a particular emphasis on sustainability and circular design principles.

She is currently working as an energy efficiency consultant and HVAC systems designer on the German market. Sumeja is fluent in English and German.
