How to prioritise our actions and decarbonise the whole built environment #ActOnClimate |
We are in a climate emergency, the human impact on the planet has been devastating and urgent action is needed. The built environment has a major responsibility to decarbonise, but with an overwhelming need which is greater than the supply of resources, it is difficult to know where to start. It is therefore vital that we act now and act fast to address these issues. Achieving net zero carbon has to be at the heart of our response to this crisis. As the built environment is responsible for up to 40% of global carbon emission, it is imperative that we have a scalable solution to meet this challenge. For World Green Building Week (WGBW) 2020, Cundall’s sustainability experts will discuss how we can #ActOnClimate by setting effective strategies for new and existing buildings and delving into our step to zero carbon process to achieve net zero carbon. #racetozero |
